Sunday the 9th of September, the M Centre came alive with wings, wands and Tutus, the Creative Spirit Centre organised a fun filled day of activities and rides in an attempt to break the world record for the most fairies gathered in the one place and to raise money for the Luke Priddis Foundation for Autism.
Sunday morning saw a brilliant spring day, and the rustling of wings and tutus started early. Fairies of all shapes, sizes, ages and sexes turned up, just after 2pm, the fairies were all captured and a count done, 494 fairies in all! Sadly, not enough to break the new record that was recently set in the UK of over 700 fairies.
Everyone had a great time with people coming from all over Sydney, and as far away as past Yass and above Newcastle.

Astral has built a special portable inspection camera and monitor package for local business. The inspection monitor is used to check industrial ducting in quarry. Monitor was a new digital LCD type giving high brightness and resolution. The system was built with a 7 amp hour battery that provides five hours of operation before recharge of battery is necessary.
